On Friday, The Sea Unicorns found themselves back in the win column, beating the Pittsfield Suns 5-3.
Alistair Morin made his first start of the season at Dodd and second one all together. His final line saw him complete four innings while allowing just one hit and run. The tall righty also racked up strikeouts with seven.
On offense, DJ Perron continues to tear up the league. He used his speed to capitalize on his fourth triple of the year.
Dean Ferrara and Brennan Hyde each had multi-hit days. Hyde, who was on the Suns last season had three hits including a run batted in.
Hyde also had a stolen base and so did Breon Parker who made his first home start. C.J Egrie swiped second and third for his league leading eleventh of the young year.
As for Ferrara, the Stag had two hits which were both a double along with some slick plays from the hot corner.
The Sea Unicorns now face league leading rival the Bees as outfielder Ray Leonzi makes his way back to Norwich.
