Sea Unicorns fans, it has been a great season so far! As we enter the final week of the regular season, we want to let you know of some schedule updates.

First, a reminder that tomorrow, Wednesday, July 31st, is a doubleheader against our in state rival, new Britain Bees. This doubleheader includes the make up game from Saturday, July 6th. Both games will be 7 innings, with game 1 starting at 5pm (gates open at 4pm) and game 2 starting approximately 30 minutes after game 1 ends. A single ticket will get you in for both games. As a reminder, our Reason To Ride bike Night has been rescheduled due to expected stormy weather and wanting to keep our motorcycle riding friends safe.

Second, due to circumstances beyond our control, Thursday’s (August 1) game against the Brockton Rox will not be played as scheduled. Instead, the Sea Unicorns have set up a special exhibition game against the Wallingford Silver Storm of the Connecticut Collegiate Baseball League. This exhibition will be scheduled for 7 innings. As  a reminder, we have moved our Replica Ring Giveaway to Friday night, however, we are still planning our K Cancer night for Thursday.

Our Friday, August 2nd will still be our Fan Appreciation Night game against the Vermont Lake Monsters. Gates will open at 4:30pm and we have rescheduled POSSM from their rained out date, presented by Yale New Haven Health/L & M Hospital. They will play from 4:45-6:15 down by the Hole In the Wall Bar. We will also be giving away 1,000 2023 Replica Championship Rings commemorating the Sea Unicorns Futures league Championship. Finally, the night will end with postgame fireworks presented by Liberty Bank.

Finally, we have added a home game this Sunday, August 4th at 4pm against the Road Warriors. This is a make up of a game that was rained out on Saturday, July 13th. Our Reason To Ride bike Night events will take place prior to this game. Please note that this will not be a Kids Run The Bases or Have a Catch promotional event.

We also will have any playoff information available to our great fans as soon as we know. There is still work to be done to officially clinch our playoff spot, so we ask that you keep coming to the ballpark to cheer on our great team and hope for another championship celebration in 2024!

Please stay tuned to our social media pages for any further updates as they become available. Thank you and go Sea Unicorns!
