After besting the Silver Knights for their first three meetings of the season, Nashua was able to come together to beat the Sea Unicorns 5-2. The season series now is at 3-1.
Norwich drew first blood early to the tune of two runs. CJ Egrie reached on an error by the Nashua left fielder then proceeded to swipe third base. Andrew Bianco would then drive Egrie in by a sac-fly to the center fielder.
The very next batter, Brennan Hyde would continue his hitting ways by slicing a double down the left field line. Despite that one out double, The Sea Unicorns would not drive Hyde in, ultimately being hitless for the remainder of the inning. They would fail to score any other runs for the next eight final innings.
Jared Burrows, the opener for Norwich would go three innings allowing one run, a homer to first baseman Shane Wockley. He would then be relieved by Pat Sawyer, who would allow four runs in the fifth, only one of them earned.
