After securing their fourth straight victory in Brockton by a score of 11-5, The Sea Unicorns would make the short trek to New Britain to face the Bees.

A recap of the Rox game saw Norwich bats go quiet until the fifth inning. They would score seven runs in that inning, batting around on just five hits.

Speaking of five, starting pitcher Pat Sawyer worked five innings for the win. He struck out four batters and only surrendered one run to keep his ERA under one.

Ethan Errera would relieve Sawyer, surrendering two. Matt Reyes and Trent Price would each make an appearance, pitching one clean inning respectively.

Every Sea Unicorn batter would record a hit but two. Ray Leonzi stole the show on offense with four RBI’s including a double and home run, his first in the Futures League.

Less than 24 hours later, The Sea Unicorns would play the rival Bees and look to make it five-straight.

Ray Leonzi would stay hot at the dish with a one pitch lead-off single on the first pitch. He would then come around to score from an Andrew Bianco single as Norwich would draw first blood 1-0.

The next two innings would see the Bees answer right back, scoring two runs in the second and three in the third to the tune of a three-run homer.

Looking to make a comeback, the Sea Unicorns would score two in the fifth by back-to-back RBI singles, courtesy of Ferrigno and Knox.

New Britain would once again answer back with an RBI double by Christian Scanlon, who hit the three-run homer earlier in the game.

The big blow of the game would be a result of a six-run seventh for the Bees which would ultimately put the game out of reach for Norwich. Your final score, Bees 12 Sea Unicorns 3.

With their being extremely little wiggle room in the standings, Norwich will look to bounce back as they travel to Pittsfield to face the Suns. Kolby Pascarelli will get the start.
