The Norwich Sea Unicorns, in an effort to showcase Dodd Stadium for its 30th season, have announced plans for a Disc Golf season in 2024. For one Sunday a month from April through October, the field and concourse at Dodd Stadium will transform into a nine hole Disc Golf Course. Players will take two turns through the nine holes to complete an 18 hole round.

The seven dates expected to be used for Disc Golf will be April 21, May 19, June 23, July 21, August 18, September 22 and October 20. Tee times will be 10am for up to 36-44 disc golfers. Should registration levels go beyond that number, additional tee times will be considered.

“Dodd Stadium has always been available for more than just baseball. In its near 30 year history, there have been many other events such as concerts, professional wrestling, soccer, wedding ceremonies and so much more,” said Sea Unicorns General Manager Lee Walter, Jr. “Other stadiums have hosted Disc Golf before and it was presented as an outside the box idea to me for this coming year. Our new Business Development Manager KC Collins has been instrumental in spearheading this project and is doing a great job with it. I am excited to see how it performs throughout the year!”
