Home Opener at Dodd Stadium set for Memorial Day on May 29th

 

The Norwich Sea Unicorns, in conjunction with the Futures Collegiate Baseball League, unveiled the 2023 schedule today. The Sea Unicorns will start the season in Worcester, MA on Wednesday, May 24th as they take on the Worcester Bravehearts. Opening Night at Dodd Stadium will take place Monday, May 29th when the Sea Unicorns host the Vermont Lake Monsters. The home opener will begin at 6:30 pm with fireworks following the game.

 

The 2023 schedule features a total of 64 games with 32 games played at Dodd Stadium and 32 on the road. The home schedule features two home games on Mondays, three on Tuesdays, five on Wednesdays, six on Thursdays, five on Fridays, six on Saturdays and five on Sundays. Game times will be 6:30 pm for all games Monday-Saturday and 4 pm on Sundays. There will be two exceptions to these times as the Sea Unicorns will host a School Day game on Wednesday, May 31st and the annual Camp Day game on Wednesday, July 19th, with both of these games starting at 11am.

 

There will be a total of eight post-game fireworks shows in 2022. In addition to Opening Night, all five Friday night home dates, Monday, July 3rd and the final home game of the regular season on Saturday, August 5th will feature fireworks shows following the games. Further details regarding the 2022 promotional schedule will be released over the coming weeks.

 

Norwich Sea Unicorns season ticket memberships to The Captain’s Club are currently on sale. Premium seats are $325 and Reserved seats are $300. Both packages also offer a $25 discount for seniors age 60 and over, children 12 and under, and all Military personnel. Mini Plans are also on sale with two different packages currently available for the 2023 season. The Create Your Own Mini Plans return with the Premium seats available for $100 and the Reserved seats available for $90. Both packages come with 10 open-dated vouchers to be used as you see fit. The Fireworks Package also returns and will feature a ticket to all eight post-game Fireworks dates for just $85.
