Kevin Murphy

Following two wildly successful (76 regular season wins, two Regular Season Championships, two Postseason Championships) seasons as Field Manager, Kevin Murphy has been was promoted to Director of Player Personnel for the Sea Unicorns ahead of the 2025 season. In this role, Murphy will continue to build the Sea Unicorns roster as well as assist in the hiring of the coaching staff. Murphy was promoted to Manager of the Sea Unicorns in November of 2022 after previously serving as an Assistant Coach during the 2022 season. A native of Springfield, MA, Murphy played collegiately at Eastern Connecticut State University, earning a Bachelor's Degree in Sport & Leisure Management in 2021. Murphy spent a graduate season at Nichols College to finish out his playing career. Despite his collegiate playing career recently ending, Murphy has already gained valuable coaching experience with Complex Sports Program in Western Massachusetts, the CT Crush and Powerhouse Training. Murphy is currently in his third season as the Pitching Coach at Amherst College after previously serving as the Volunteer Assistant Baseball Coach at Quinnipiac University.
